本刊第29卷第4期发表了陈绍亮等[1]10位医师撰写的"核医学的发展前景和挑战——参加第52届美国核医学年会后的思考和体会"一文,从一定的学术和社会经济高度及作者们的个人专长、知识结构,加以判断选择,介绍了国外核医学的目前进展动向,并对学科的前景作出思考,读后很有启发和收获。本期编辑部又组织了11篇PET-CT临床应用及相关技术的专题介绍辟为专号刊出,作者多为我国从事这一工作第一线的青年专家或研究生,编辑部邀我写个述评,因对组稿过程不甚了解,恐有辱使命,但事后编辑部寄来征稿全文,故也只好尽力而为了。

作者简介:林祥通,男,1936年出生,教授,博士生导师,本刊资深名誉编委,中国核学会理事,第八届国家药典委员会委员,上海市核医学质量控制中心主任。第一作者发表论文70余篇,培养博士研究生已毕业16名,在读3名,曾承担国家自然科学基金及教育部博士点基金多项。目前从事研究领域:①老年人脑部疾病SPECT和PET研究;②PET应用基础与临床应用研究。
